Installation

  • Prepare the Site:
    • Ensure that the gate track is properly aligned and installed.
    • Verify that the sliding gate is correctly fitted with guide rollers and moves freely along the track.
  • Position the Motor:
    • Place the DA-IZ-1500 sliding gate opener on a stable foundation near the gate’s track.
    • Ensure that the gear rack on the gate will mesh with the motor’s drive gear.
  • Mount the Motor:
    • Secure the motor to the foundation using mounting bolts.
    • Use a level to ensure the motor is correctly aligned with the gate’s drive track.
  • Install the Gear Rack:
    • Attach the gear rack to the bottom of the sliding gate, ensuring it aligns with the motor’s drive gear.
    • Adjust the positioning so that the gear rack engages smoothly with the drive gear.
  • Connect the Power:
    • Connect the motor to the 240VAC power supply, ensuring all wiring complies with local electrical codes.
    • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for connecting safety sensors or remote controls, if applicable.
  • Test the Operation:
    • Power on the gate opener and test the gate’s movement.
    • Ensure the gate opens and closes smoothly, and that the thermal protection feature engages as needed.
  • Final Adjustments:
    • Make any necessary adjustments to the gear rack alignment or motor placement to ensure smooth operation.
    • Tighten all bolts and ensure all connections are secure.
