• Determine Placement:
  • Position the GC5M Gate Catcher on the gate post or wall where it will latch the gate.
  • Mark the position of the mounting holes, ensuring the catcher aligns with the closing point of the gate.
• Pre-Drill Holes:
  • Use a drill to create pilot holes at the marked positions on the gate post or wall.
  • Choose the appropriate drill bit size based on the screws or bolts you plan to use.
• Attach the Gate Catcher:
  • Place the GC5M Gate Catcher over the drilled holes.
  • Secure it with screws or bolts, tightening them with a wrench or screwdriver until the catcher is firmly in place.
• Test Gate Operation:
  • Close the gate and ensure that it latches securely into the gate catcher. Adjust the position if necessary to ensure smooth operation and secure holding.
• Final Adjustments:
  • Make any necessary adjustments to ensure the gate is properly aligned with the catcher for secure latching.
  • Check the level and stability of the catcher, tightening screws or bolts as needed.
