Installation
- Determine Installation Height: Ensure the receiver and emitter are installed horizontally at least 20cm above the ground.
- Mount the Emitter: Attach the emitter to a pillar or post on one side of the gate using screws or brackets.
- Mount the Receiver: On the opposite side, mount the receiver at the same height, ensuring it is directly aligned with the emitter.
- Power the Devices:
- Connect the receiver to an AC/DC 12-24V power supply.
- Insert two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries into the emitter.
- Test the Sensor: Once both devices are powered, test the sensor by moving an object between the emitter and receiver to ensure the gate stops when an obstruction is detected.
- Adjust if Necessary: Make sure the receiver and emitter are properly aligned for optimal performance and adjust the alignment if needed.
- Final Check: Confirm the gate operates safely, stopping when anything interrupts the sensor’s beam.
